ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MOST IMPORTANT TO GET THE JOB DONE):

  • Support and manage talent acquisition activities for corporate, 3PL, nearshoring, and retail roles, ensuring timely staffing and coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Execute and support hiring processes through Workday, ensuring accurate data entry, document management, and compliance with internal policies.
  • Prepare new hire documentation and ensure accurate filing and secure storage in both digital and physical employee files, following internal procedures and confidentiality requirements.
  • Provide support to administrative HR processes across Corporate, 3PL, Nearshoring, and Retail operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Manage employee enrollments and terminations for the SGMM (Major Medical Insurance), ensuring accurate processing and documentation.
  • Support and coordinate the “Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro” program, including platform follow-up and administration of university and college internship programs.
  • Manage the SIRCE platform and follow up on training programs to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the creation and management of Human Resources internal communication.
  • Support data analytics activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting to support HR processes and decision-making.
  • Maintain and update information on the company intranet, ensuring content accuracy and timely updates.
  • Participate in process mapping activities to document and improve HR processes.
  • Update and maintain commissions information, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and secure recordkeeping.
  • Support the HR Specialist with payroll-related incidents, ensuring timely follow-up and proper documentation.
  • Participate in the preparation of training sessions and provide support to the HR Specialist team.
  • Assign training courses in Workday, monitor participant progress, and follow up on course completion to ensure accurate records and compliance with training requirements.
  • Support the HR Specialist in Annual and Mid-Year Review processes.

  • Strong customer or hospitality orientation, with proven ability to identify, understand, and align with internal and external client needs, ensuring effective delivery and follow-up
  • Proven success working in a matrix organization and in a team-based environment, meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt to a constantly changing environment while maintaining a clear focus on priorities
  • Strong interviewing skills
  • Proficiency in administering and evaluating psychometric assessments

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (MINIMUM COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE):

  • Solid experience in the Talent Acquisition process using the STAR methodology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Intermediate oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English (B1–B2 proficiency)
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail; great ability to work as part of a team

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred
  • 2 to 3 years of previous experience in talent selection and hiring for companies; experience in hospitality is highly valued.
